Should this comment about debt be on the political page? Consider this, the devalued dollar has people going into debt longer than before. Debt is a veneer that hides the true state of the economy. Could it be that our economic situation is related to our spiritual condition? As when the bible talks about people putting their money into a bag that has holes in it?
In the book of Proverbs, it clearly staes that "The borrower is servant to the lender". Consider that many businesses are glad to get a 5% profit margin.

Now think about what people are paying in interest. If you shackled a person, and put a taskmaster over them, I don't know that you would do as well as the ones collecting the interest.

But hey, you're free! This is the "Land of the free". Always remember that.

Party House!

Imagine a homeowner telling the party gang that if they want to live in his house, they surely can, treat it how they wish. Knock holes in the walls, break windows, ruin the carpet.Then, when they feel like it, they can tell the homeowner if they want to buy it.

I don't see much difference between that and the boyfriend-girlfriend arrangements so typical these days.Women's liberation liberated men to do as they please, with no commitment.
The debt of the US government won't be paid by this generation, surely it will pass to the next, and is taxation without representation!

Maybe the reasoning is that since they'll be "educated" in the public school system, they won't know how to spend money anyway, and we'd best handle that for them.
First, there were the sacred cows of India, now it's the sacred horses of the USA. A recent court decision shut down most horse slaughtering plants. The price of horses has dropped very low. A drought in the southeastern US has caused a scarcity of hay. I have heard of two reports of people finding horses wandering the roads. The finders took out ads, put up signs, and got no relpies. A realtive of mine has been given several horses, one died from starvation before he could revive it. The horses are suffering MORE because of the court's decision.
If you teach them that they evolved from animals, don't be surprised if they act that way!
